A new capital structure provides teams with breathing space to develop a new set of options for their business. We know that companies and teams that position themselves with more options regularly make better decisions.
Before we invest
We invest in handpicked companies and bring our experience, expertise and care to each one. Ours is not a factory model. We work with the leadership team to craft a new plan for the business that is focused on sustainability and a clear path to growth. We then determine the capital requirements to support the plan and the incentive structure needed for the team and existing debt and equity-holders.
Infusing capital
We want the company to emerge from this process with a clean balance sheet and cap table. We provide creditors and investors a package that can include multiple forms of consideration and an opportunity for real upside when the exit comes.
Ongoing support
We then take an active board role to stand shoulder to shoulder with the team to deliver on the new plan. We know that growth is often non-linear and capital is just one small component of long-term success.
